April - Squat Anemonea shrimp (Thor amboinensis) on the tentacle of an anemone in Cozumel. The shrimp is less than 2 cm long.

May - Yellow Head Jawfish emerges from its hole in the sand in search of a meal. These tiny fishes are common in the Drake Channel.

July - Bright yellow Anemones emerge at night on the wreck of the Rhone in the Drake Channel.

August - A diver using side-mounted doubles, traverses the stalactites and stalagmites of Cenote Azul.

September - Green Moray in Cozumel. I believe that I have photographed this Moray and the June Moray before. Comparisons of images from previous years are very similar.

October - Yellow Seahorse in Cozumel. We saw this Seahorse 3 times on the same coral head over the course of a week.

November - Garibaldi under the oil rig “Eureka”. Schools of small fish are abundant under the rig

December - Kelp Snail off Santa Cruz Island

This Nurse Shark with Remora was a runner-up for the calendar. It was shot in a very fast current on Santa Rosa reef in Cozumel.
